Weathervane Instructions

  1. Mark where you want your weathervane to be and drill a 1/8" (3.2mm) diameter hole X 7/8" (22.2mm) deep as straight down (vertical) as possible.

  2. Use a small amount of glue in the hole that you just drilled and push the weather vane shaft into it until it hits the shoulder on the shaft.

  3. Use a small amount of glue to secure the directional to the shaft.  Make sure you aim the compass points where you want them.  Let the glue dry before going any further.

  4. Hold the ball and the figure together and slide the post into the hole in the shaft. The top figure will spin freely.
